Saturday, June 11 update

Hello! Today was an exciting day. First, we left our house in Siglufjörður, and drove for one and a half hours. (So exciting!) We then stopped at a horse riding place [Hestasport in the town of Varmahlíð in North Iceland]. Our dad stayed in the car to watch the baby, so everyone else rode.

We started the day in Siglufjörður, the northernmost town in Iceland. The main draw here is the Herring Era Museum. This is an impressive place– 3 huge buildings housing ships, tools, and information about herring fishing and processing in this area.

Wednesday, June 8th Update Part 2: Laufás, Húsavík museums, Whale Watching with North Sailing
