Sunday, June 19 update
Hello! Today was really fun. First we walked around town, and got swooped by a bunch of birds. After we got back to the house, we went on a hike to a town that was 45 minutes away walking.
Thursday, June 16 update
Hello! Today was a really fun day. In the morning, we didn’t really do much. Just before lunch though, we left for a day camp at a sheep museum.
Saturday, June 11 update
Hello! Today was an exciting day. First, we left our house in Siglufjörður, and drove for one and a half hours. (So exciting!) We then stopped at a horse riding place [Hestasport in the town of Varmahlíð in North Iceland]. Our dad stayed in the car to watch the baby, so everyone else rode.
Monday, June 6 update
Hello! Today was another driving day. We left our house in Egilsstaðir, and drove away. We drove for about an hour, then stopped to eat lunch at a geyser called Hverir
Friday, June 3 update
Hello! Today we drove around Lagarfljót (a lake) and tried to find Lagarfljótsormur, which is a giant wyrm that supposedly lives in the lake.
Wednesday, June 1 update
Hello! Sorry for no Live from Iceland post yesterday; after all of the busy days last week we decided to take a day to relax. Today we first went to the East Iceland Heritage Museum, which had a really cool exhibit about reindeer. The other exhibit in the museum was about an old historical turf …
