Hi! Today we left for our new house, leaving our house in Höfn behind. We drove for about an hour and a half, not stopping. Once we got to the town that we were going to stay in, (Djupivogur). When we go there, we went to see some big stone eggs
Today, we spent a lot of time driving and only some of that time doing things, which is unfortunately true of a lot of parts of Iceland! We’re still staying in Höfn, but we drove for over an hour to get to the Fjallsárlón glacier lagoon (a lake left behind by melting pieces of glacier ice).
After yesterday’s long (for us) car ride, we spent today in and around Höfn. We explored the town a little, and found um, those boots above. As well as the Gamlabúð Folk Museum, which is attached to the Visitor’s Center by the harbor. It’s a small 2 story museum, but it’s free!
