Monday, May 30 update

We spent much of the day in the lovely Seyðisfjörður. First stop was a short walk to the Skaftfell museum, where we saw an exhibit that was just about to be taken down. It was called “Frontiers of Solitude.” Presumably there will be a new exhibit for the summer.

After yesterday’s long (for us) car ride, we spent today in and around Höfn.  We explored the town a little, and found um, those boots above. As well as the Gamlabúð Folk Museum, which is attached to the Visitor’s Center by the harbor. It’s a small 2 story museum, but it’s free!
