Everything you need to plan an amazing vacation to Iceland!
We spent much of the day in the lovely Seyðisfjörður. First stop was a short walk to the Skaftfell museum, where we saw an exhibit that was just about to be taken down. It was called “Frontiers of Solitude.” Presumably there will be a new exhibit for the summer.
First my siblings went on a glacier walk (or hike), and I stayed home and went to a black sand beach.
We are getting into the swing of the trip now—so we will start updating you about our adventures on the blog in (semi-)real time. Today we traveled to the Westmann Islands by ferry. (And before that we stopped to gawk at a waterfall.)
