Our trip to Iceland with our 2 year old would have been nearly impossible to plan without Eric’s help. While I love planning itineraries for our family trips, Iceland presented a different type of difficulties when planning the itinerary. Here’s where Eric came to the rescue! From the get go he was super easy to work with, asked a great number of questions and prepared a highly tailored itinerary for our 11 days there. He made himself available for my questions, kept us updated with all kinds of COVID alerts, and stayed in touch the few days before and during our trip. Due to bad weather we had to reschedule our days at the Westman Island and Eric was very quick to send us a number of suggestions to change our itinerary. The rental company he recommended was super easy to work with and the e-sim option for our phone was a total success. We were worried at first to plan a trip with a toddler, but Eric gave us so many great options that we were able to enjoy the trip without having to scramble to figure out what to do next. He sent us GPS coordinates for almost all locations which made it very easy to plug into Google maps and figure out the next stop. We copied his itinerary to an apple note on our phone so we had easy access to the plan. Thank you Eric for all your help! You made our round trip through the land of ice and fire an epic one!

Such a no brainer to hire Eric. He is immensely knowledgeable, shares his knowledge and will run down odd questions and requests. He updates you when ferry times change, knows if a certain restaurant is closed and recommends the right size car for all your luggage. He is responsive and comprehensive. He has the local information. I cannot stress enough how great he was for our family of 8! Two seniors, two adults, one adult with disability, one kindergartener and a toddler!

Eric was brilliant at engaging with the whole family and listening to our requirements. A few days later he produced a really detailed multi-page bespoke itinerary that listed all you could hope for, travel distances and times, where to stop to eat, what to see, different options depending on mood/budget etc. We were encouraged to read through it and fine-tune it to our requirements making comments about what we liked and didn’t and then Eric worked some more on it until it was perfect. Eric is highly knowledgable and a real gentleman, paying for his bespoke service gives you much more than you can get from the guidebooks alone. If you are hesitating about if you should use Eric, I’d advice you to do it, you won’t regret it and you’ll end up with memories that will last a lifetime!
