Monday, June 6 update

June 7, 2016 by Carl

Hello!

Today was another driving day. We left our house in Egilsstaðir, and drove away. We drove for about an hour, then stopped to eat lunch at a geyser called Hverir

that smelled really bad, but looked really cool. Luckily, we ate our lunch in the car, not next to the geyser. After we ate lunch, we kept driving until we got to the Myvatn nature baths.

The Myvatn nature baths are almost like the blue lagoon, but not as big, and they smell like sulfur, but they were fun. After we finished swimming, we drove for while, and found a bird museum

that also had a really cool and old boat.

After the museum, we drove for another hour until we got to Akureyri, and our new house. We will be staying in this house for three nights.
