More information about Lundi the Lost Puffin
Here are a couple of facts about Lundi the Lost Puffin. First, all of the scenery is really from the Westman Islands in Iceland! Pufflings get lost in the town of Heimaey (the only town on the Westman Islands) every fall! Check out this real photo I took in Heimaey last summer vs. where Lundi ends up in the book:
Second, the Sea Life Trust Aquarium is really the place where children bring their lost pufflings the next day. (They gave me permission to use their logo in the book!) Every August and September, their Facebook page is full of pictures of adorable children holding pufflings! Here’s their first puffling post from 2018:
